One of the nation's leading strategic communications experts, Adam Mendelsohn has over 18 years of experience in business, government, and political campaigns. Over the course of his career, Adam has served at the highest levels of government and business, advising an extremely diverse roster of clients through high-profile, complex communications challenges. Adam founded the Mercury California office in 2007 and, along with partner Fabian Nunez, built the business into one of largest and most respected consulting firms in the state.
Adam's client work focuses primarily on strategic communications and media relations for Fortune 50 companies, CEOs, professional athletes, celebrities, non-profit organizations and political campaigns.
In 2008, he was responsible for all media, messaging, and strategy for the Republican National Convention in Minneapolis. In 2006, Adam served as Deputy Chief of Staff for Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger and directed communications strategy for his re-election campaign. Adam managed Governor Schwarzenegger's political and non-political efforts, including the successful campaigns in support of Proposition 11, Proposition 14, and in opposition of Proposition 23. From 2003-2005, Adam worked at DCI in Washington, D.C. where he created and lead the media and public relations division.
Adam, along with former managing director Abby Lunardini, created Mercury Digital, the social and digital media specialty practice.
